🔐 Why You Must Keep Communication Inside Gig.tn
Staying on-platform is not just a suggestion — it’s for your protection.
For Buyers:
If a freelancer delivers low-quality work or stops responding, Gig.tn can only help if the conversation happened on the platform.
If you send money or instructions off-platform (WhatsApp, email, etc.), you waive your protection.
For Freelancers:
If a buyer becomes abusive, demands extra unpaid work, or threatens you, your Gig.tn message history is your proof.
If you agree to deliver outside of Gig.tn, you risk not getting paid and losing your account.
🚨 If someone asks you to communicate or pay outside of Gig.tn, report them immediately.
✨ Professional Messaging Etiquette (for Both Sides)
DO:
Start with a friendly greeting — a simple “Hi” makes a difference
Be clear and specific about what you want or need
Ask questions before ordering if something is unclear
Use polite, professional language
Give context when requesting revisions
Respond within 24 hours when possible
DON'T:
Demand things without discussion
Use rude, condescending, or aggressive language
Spam with copy-paste messages or emojis
Try to negotiate prices outside of the platform
Good communication = faster results, fewer mistakes, better outcomes.
🚫 Harassment, Spam, and Inappropriate Behavior
Gig.tn enforces a strict zero tolerance policy for any of the following:
Personal attacks or insults
Threats or intimidation
Discrimination, sexism, or hate speech
Repeated unwanted contact
Sending unsolicited links or ads
Trying to flirt, hit on, or harass users
📌 Every message is traceable. If you break the rules, your account will be flagged, and repeat offenses may lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
If you receive inappropriate messages:
Click “Report” next to the message
Select the reason (harassment, spam, etc.)
Our moderation team will investigate and take action
⚠️ Important Notes for Buyers and Freelancers
For Buyers:
Don’t expect freelancers to work without an order in place.
Be respectful of their time — if you're not ready to order, say so.
Asking “Can you do this for free first to test?” is not acceptable.
For Freelancers:
Use message templates wisely, but personalize your replies.
Never push a buyer to place an order if they’re not ready.
If someone is trying to scam or bait you, stay polite and report it immediately.
🧠 Communication = Reputation
Your messages influence how people perceive you:
Buyers who are respectful and clear tend to get better service and faster delivery.
Freelancers who are responsive and professional get more repeat clients and positive reviews.
Every message is part of your brand.
