This guide will walk you through every step of buying services on Gig.tn, from browsing gigs to completing payment and receiving work.
Step 1: Browsing & Finding a Gig
Before you buy, you need to find the right freelancer for your project. Here's how:
Go to the Gig.tn Homepage
Visit Gig.tn and log into your account.
Browse Services
Use the search bar to type keywords related to what you need (e.g., "logo design," "Facebook ads management").
Or, navigate through categories like:
Programming & Tech
Writing & Translation
Graphic Design
Marketing & Social Media
Video & Animation, etc.
Check Freelancer Profiles & Gig Details
Click on a gig to open the detailed service page.
Read the description, pricing, delivery time, and freelancer reviews.
Look at previous work samples to evaluate quality.
Step 2: Ordering a Gig (Click "Buy Now")
Once you've found a service that fits your needs:
Click the "Buy Now" Button
This takes you directly to checkout.
Choose Add-Ons (Optional)
Some freelancers offer extra services (faster delivery, additional revisions, source files, etc.).
You can customize your order by selecting relevant add-ons.
Review Your Order Summary
You'll see the total price, including any fees or applicable discounts.
Step 3: Fixing the "Authorization Error" (If It Appears)
If you see the following error message:
❌ "Vous n'avez pas l'autorisation d'acheter ce service. Seuls les employeurs peuvent acheter les services."
(Translation: You are not authorized to buy this service. Only employers can purchase services.)
This means you are currently using a Freelancer account instead of a Buyer account.
How to Fix This: Switch to Buyer Mode
Go to the Top-Right Profile Menu
Hover over your profile icon in the top-right corner.
A dropdown menu will appear.
Click "Changer de rôle d'utilisateur" (Switch User Role)
Select "Buyer" to switch to employer mode.
Now, you can purchase services.
Return to the Gig Page & Click "Buy Now" Again
The error should be gone, and you’ll proceed to checkout.
Step 4: Checkout & Payment
Once in Buyer mode, you’ll be taken to the Checkout page.
1. Enter Your Billing Information
Fill out:
Full Name
Email Address (where order confirmation & invoice will be sent)
Billing Address (country, city, postal code, phone number)
2. Choose a Payment Method
Gig.tn supports multiple payment options:
Konnect
D17 (Tunisia’s Digital Wallet)
National & International Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
3. Finalize Your Order
Review your order details and total cost.
Click "Commander" (Place Order).
Once payment is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email & invoice.
Step 5: Tracking Your Order & Receiving Work
After purchase:
✔ The freelancer is notified of your order.
✔ You can track progress from your Dashboard → Orders section.
✔ If needed, communicate with the freelancer via messages.
✔ Once the freelancer delivers the work, review it carefully before marking the order as "Complete."
Final Notes
If you can’t purchase a service, ensure you're in Buyer mode.
Payments are held in escrow until the freelancer delivers.
You can request revisions if the work isn’t as expected.
