What Happens If a Buyer Approves an Order and Then Wants a Refund?

Updated over 2 months ago

Once a buyer approves an order, the payment is released to the freelancer. At this stage, refunds are no longer possible.

Why?

  • Approval means the buyer confirms they are satisfied with the work.

  • Once funds are transferred to the freelancer, they are not reversible.

  • Allowing refunds after approval would make it easy for buyers to exploit freelancers.

Example Scenario:
🔹 A buyer receives a logo design and marks the order as complete.
🔹 One week later, they claim they don’t like the logo and ask for a refund.
🔹 Since the order was approved, no refund is granted.

📌 Once an order is marked as complete, refunds will NOT be issued.
