What Happens If a Freelancer Delivers Incomplete Work and Refuses to Revise It?

Updated over 2 months ago

Freelancers on Gig.tn must deliver work as described in their gig listing. If a freelancer fails to do this and refuses to make necessary revisions, Gig.tn will issue a refund to the buyer.

When a Buyer Is Entitled to a Refund:

✔ The freelancer did not follow the gig description.
✔ The work was only partially completed.
✔ The freelancer ignored revision requests and is unresponsive.
✔ The final product is significantly different from what was promised.

When Gig.tn Reviews the Case Individually:

  • If the dispute is more complex, we investigate by reviewing communication between both parties.

  • Gig.tn will try to mediate between the buyer and freelancer to reach a fair resolution.

  • If the buyer is being unreasonable (e.g., demanding extra unpaid work), the freelancer is protected from unfair refunds.

📌 Buyers Should Always:

  • Save all communication inside Gig.tn to provide proof in case of a dispute.

  • Be specific when requesting revisions to help freelancers fix mistakes.

  • Avoid rushing to request a refund if the issue can be resolved with small adjustments.
